How
can you help?
By
becoming a VIP (Volunteer in Parks), you will be working
side by side with the LaPorte County Parks staff. Together
we can provide more awareness and enjoyment of the resources
available in LaPorte County to all citizens. You will
be helping us meet our mission. Volunteers are very important
people to the LaPorte County Parks system.
There
is only one success, to be able to spend your life in
your own way -Christopher Morely
If
spending time in nature is important to your livelihood,
become a volunteer with the LaPorte County Parks. How
much time you spend here is up to you.
Why
Become A VIP?
Volunteering
has a long tradition in American society. People volunteer
for different reasons. Perhaps they want to make a difference
in their lives or in the lives of others, they want to
give back to their community, they feel strongly for the
cause the organization works towards, they have spare
time they want to fill with something worthwhile, or for
many other reasons. Whatever your reason, being a volunteer
makes you a highly valued resource to the LaPorte County
Parks and to the community as a whole.
